CANON PIXMA TS5320 UNBOXING SETUP
UNPACK YOUR PRINTER
Open the printer box and take out all the components you have received. Your package includes the Canon PIXMA TS5320 printer, cartridge set, power cord, installation CD, getting started guide, and a sample paper.
Take off all the packing materials and protective tapes from the printer and its components.
Check whether all the items have been delivered without damage. If yes, proceed to the next section.
CONNECT THE POWER CORD
Take the power cord and connect it to your printer’s power port and an electrical outlet.
Turn on your Canon printer by pressing the ON button.
Using the arrow buttons, select your preferred language and press OK.
INSTALL THE FINE CARTRIDGES
Open the scanning unit and ink cartridge locking cover.
Unpack the Color FINE cartridge and insert it into the respective holder. Then push it until it snaps into its place.
Repeat the procedure for the Black FINE cartridge.
Once done, close the scanning unit.
LOAD YOUR PAPER
Extend the paper cassette and remove it completely from the printer. Then, remove the cassette cover.
Move the paper guides to the extreme corners.
Take a stack of paper and fan the sheets neatly.
Load the stack into the paper cassette and adjust the guides against the paper.
Attach the cassette cover and re-insert the cassette into the printer.
Finally, extend the paper output tray.
CONNECT YOUR PRINTER AND THE COMPUTER
Take the supplied installation CD and insert it into your computer’s CD drive. Then install the software on your computer.
In case your computer doesn’t have a CD drive or you have lost the CD, visit Canon’s official website and enter your printer model. Then, download the driver compatible with your Operating System.
Locate the setup file in your computer’s Downloads folder and run the setup file.
If the User Account Control (UAC) screen appears, click Yes.
Click the Start Setup button to begin the installation process.
When prompted, select the connection method you prefer and connect your printer and computer according to the type of connection you have picked.
